Job Description:
- We are currently looking for a Linux programmer with Managed File Transmission (MFT) automation experience to join our team.
- The Electronic Data Exchange group supports centralized Managed File Transmission support and automation for our customer's various business units. We support the MFT software, environment, and automation tools as well as partner with the business groups to develop and implement MFT solutions.
- The Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) group is looking for a seasoned programmer with experience in file transmission processes and protocols. Our team develops and supports transmission automation on a variety of platforms so we are looking for someone with strong experience in Linux. We are a growing area that must adapt well to change. This person will work with other senior level Programmer Analysts supporting Linux/UNIX and, Windows. This is a critical role for an experienced programmer analyst who has diplomacy, excellent customer service and communication skills, and can handle the pressure of frequent direct interaction with external customers.
- The team member must be able to meet with customers to gather the requirements of the transmission request. This often involves helping the customer understand what options are available to them. The team member is then involved in all aspects of the process - design solutions, code, test, troubleshoot, document, provide on-call support.
Requirements:
- Cleo Harmony experience.
- 7 years experience with Unix/Linux application support and programming (Bash shell/Korn shell, Perl).
- 7 years experience with the following FTP protocols SFTP/SSH, FTPS/SSL, HTTP/s and PGP/GPG.
- 5 years experience working with TCPIP connectivity setups and troubleshooting, Managed File Transfer (MFT).
- Strong problem determination/analysis skills.
- Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks/projects under inflexible time commitments.
- Strong writing skills and strong interpersonal/team skills.
