About the role and job :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst / Architect to lead the analysis, design, and implementation of workflow automation for our Service and Software Contract Management processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand current workflows, identify opportunities for automation, and translate these into actionable requirements for IT teams. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of an optimized, automated workflow system.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process Analysis and Workflow Design :
- Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Map current-state processes using tools like igrafix or Visio and design future-state workflows optimized for automation.
- Requirement Gathering and Documentation :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create comprehensive documentation such as Process Design Documents (PDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
- Automation Opportunity Identification :
- Evaluate tasks within workflows for automation feasibility based on complexity, ROI, and strategic importance.
- Propose RPA or other automation solutions tailored to business needs.
- Solution Translation :
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for developers. The details should include source of data, the inputs, logic and output.
- Collaboration and Change Management :
- Facilitate discussions between stakeholders, developers, and project teams to align on objectives and solutions.
- Support change management efforts by preparing training materials, conducting workshops, and addressing user concerns during implementation.
- Testing and Validation :
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure automated workflows meet business requirements.
- Monitor post-implementation performance to validate success metrics like efficiency gains or cost reductions.
- Project Management Support :
- Assist in prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating deliverables across teams.
