Job Title: Senior Sales Program Analyst
MDF stands for Market Development Funds, which are a critical component of our sales strategy at Epson America. As a Senior Sales Program Analyst, you will play a vital role in optimizing and maintaining the integrity of our MDF system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead ongoing reports and in-depth analysis of MDF usage to deliver strategic insights that empower key stakeholders
- Create dynamic and impactful reports using PowerBI to enhance decision-making and drive alignment across departments
- Develop, implement, and refine internal MDF reporting systems to ensure they run at their best
- Manage validation of payouts, analyze program projections, and ensure compliance with MDF expenses and payments
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive efficiency and effectiveness of MDF management
Track MDF Usage: Utilize PowerBI reports and internal Sales Operations system to track MDF usage and manage annual expense projections for sales incentives and partner programs.
Identify Potential Breakage: Identify potential breakage so funds may be reallocated if appropriate.
Assist with Policy Development: Assist with the development and enforcement of MDF policies and procedures.
Provide Regular Reporting: Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to Sales Management, Product Management, Finance, and Sales Operations to assist in analyzing the following: MDF usage, forecasted expenditures based on account forecast, expenditure changes due to account mix modifications.
Analyze Financial Results: Analyze, report, and communicate financial MDF results of different sales channels to assist in the annual budgeting process.
Determine Impact of Changes: Determine impact of changes in spending type, product line, and customer mix and the impact it may have on the overall budget.
Consult with Sales Representatives: Consult with sales representatives on MDF program development and execution.
Review Volume Targets: Review volume targets to ensure consistency between actual sales and forecast.
Process Payments: Process payments for various programs within the MDF department.
Administrative Support: Assist in the development of presentations for key meetings and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
Department Management: Participate and maintain written departmental standards and procedures.
Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with all levels of Sales, peers, other departments, and leadership to best meet company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Requires Experience at an intermediate level (5-8 years)
- Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate-level functions and data manipulation
- Experience in data visualization, with a preference for Power BI
- Strong background in business analytics and financial analysis
