Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure production of prototype cases in alignment with R&D requirements.
- Conduct mechanical tests (operation, resistance) on prototypes.
- Install prototypes both in the factory and occasionally at client sites as part of ongoing developments.
- Manage inventory of prototype cases, overseeing destruction as directed by the R&D Director.
- Optimize the utilization of human and material resources within the workshop.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization within the Prototypes workshop.
Required:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related position, with basic management, refrigeration, or air conditioning experience.
- Languages: Intermediate English proficiency.
- Design Understanding: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (e.g., sheet metal, machined parts).
- Assembly: Proficient in assembling mechanical components with common tools.
- Operation Knowledge: Familiar with case functionality to ensure effective assembly.
- Component Creation: Able to create prototype components (machining, 3D printing).
- Workshop Management: Skilled in first-level maintenance of machines and managing stock of raw materials.
- Electrical Assembly: Capable of performing basic electrical assemblies.
- Handling & Installation: Certified to handle cases using appropriate tools like forklifts and pallet trucks.
- Testing & Documentation: Conduct tests, record results using measurement devices, and maintain test documentation.
- Process Improvement: Proactively suggests improvements to enhance quality and productivity in prototype production.
- Understanding of production and testing processes.
- Proficiency in assembly, operation, and handling of prototype cases.
- Familiarity with stock and machine maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency.

Working Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Environment: Workshop setting with occasional client site visits.

- Travel: Occasional travel for client site installations as required.
- Hand tools, power tools, forklift, pallet truck, dimensional measuring devices, and 3D printing machines.
