This Supervisor 3rd Shift – Assembly Department position is with Kysor-Warren Epta, part of the global Epta Group, located in Columbus, Georgia. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the coordination and delivery of units across departments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement. Join us to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through technical and administrative excellence.
Your contribution:
- Supervise 3rd shift operations within the Assembly Department, ensuring production goals and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate activities across production, planning, quality, and logistics to ensure timely unit delivery.
- Maintain and update technical documentation including bills of materials, technical drawings, and commercial order confirmations.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment and resolve discrepancies.
- Identify and manage process improvements to enhance operational flow and data accuracy.
- Participate in audits and ensure data traceability within SAP and related systems.
- Support quality control by verifying compliance with documentation and operational standards.
- Lead, train, and develop team members to maintain high performance and morale.
- Compulsory School and/or High School diploma required; technical certification or higher education (Associate’s, Bachelor’s) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Strong understanding of assembly processes and production flows.
- Experience working with technical documentation and reading assembly drawings.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work cross-functionally with planning, logistics, and engineering.
- Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to work 3rd shift hours and support operational demands.
