SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday
1st shift - 7:00AM to 3:30PM (Monday through Friday)
POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Inspector C is primarily responsible for the following:
- Perform detailed inspection of all mechanical dimensions of parts and maintain documentation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Perform CMM operations as necessary to meet assigned goals.
- Ability to interpret reported CMM data, while ensuring the integrity of the recorded information.
- Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspection for dimensions of parts produced and maintain documentation as required.
- Keep count of parts and maintain accurate records in ERP, as well as other supporting documentation.
- Perform routine measurement of components utilizing identified sophisticated equipment, including various hand gages, such as calipers and micrometers.
- Compare print and customer requirements with parts produced to determine the final quality of the part.
- Provide accurate and detailed feedback to the operations team.
- Assist with calibration system maintenance.
- Assist with equipment calibration as required. *

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- EDUCATION: High School diploma, general education degree (GED) and/or trade school graduate preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: 1 year(s) experience in quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing environment, equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted OR demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions for this position. Internships and PT experience acceptable.
