Position Summary:
Coordinate and oversee all areas related to foster care and adoption.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
South Carolina Certified Adoption Specialist Certification required within 6
months of hire.
Five years experience working with children in the child welfare system.
Prior experience working with a child placing agency is highly desired.
Must be proficient with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel
and electronic communication. Know or have the ability to quickly learn any
database system required
Must become a certified NCI and certified CARE trainer within 1 year of hire.
Must be able to pass standard background checks, including: drug screen,
employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry
Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those
of the United Methodist Church
