Automated Bagging Line Operator

Job Title: Automated Bagger operator

Job Summary

The individual in this role will support operations at a wood shaving production plant. Responsibilities include assisting with the automated bagging line, housekeeping duties, and other tasks as required. All duties must be performed in compliance with plant safety and operational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the automated packaging and robotic stacking of products, as well as truck loading.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
• Receive and apply industrial operations training safely and effectively.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management, maintenance, and controls personnel to enhance operations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve plant objectives.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Conduct quality control procedures as directed.
• Carry out preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance in adherence to safety and maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain plant cleanliness and organization.
• Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and front-end loaders, safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently, with basic math skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and working in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work extended shifts, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.

• Ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
