Responsibilities
- Own and drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring the organization meets and exceeds revenue goals.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that prioritize growth, identify target markets, and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Actively prospect and engage new clients, creating opportunities to expand EQPD’s reach and impact.
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in schools, districts, and educational organizations.
- Lead high-stakes sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations, demonstrating a clear value proposition to clients.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a small sales team, ensuring they are equipped to meet individual and team sales targets.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote EQPD’s services.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular sales reports and forecasts to leadership.
- Collaborate with the Client Services team on renewals and expansions to drive long-term revenue growth.
- Utilize CRM tools like HubSpot to manage and track all sales activities.
Requirements
- 2 years of proven, high-performance consultative sales experience in the education sector or a related industry.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with sales strategy development, CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), and data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence high-level stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Experience leading, managing, and motivating a small sales team.
