EQPD is seeking an energetic, driven, and results-oriented Director of Sales to lead our revenue growth efforts. We are looking for a candidate who is not only passionate about education but also understands that they will play the leading role in generating the majority of the organization’s revenue.

Role Overview: As the Director of Sales at EQPD, your primary responsibility will be driving revenue growth. You will develop and implement aggressive sales strategies, own the sales process from start to finish, and be accountable for achieving ambitious sales targets. Additionally, you will build and lead a small, high-performing sales team to support the organization’s growth objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is mission-critical and requires a dynamic leader who thrives on meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring the organization meets and exceeds revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that prioritize growth, identify target markets, and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Actively prospect and engage new clients, creating opportunities to expand EQPD’s reach and impact.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in schools, districts, and educational organizations.
  • Lead high-stakes sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations, demonstrating a clear value proposition to clients.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a small sales team, ensuring they are equipped to meet individual and team sales targets.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote EQPD’s services.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular sales reports and forecasts to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Client Services team on renewals and expansions to drive long-term revenue growth.
  • Utilize CRM tools like HubSpot to manage and track all sales activities.

Requirements

  • 2 years of proven, high-performance consultative sales experience in the education sector or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with sales strategy development, CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence high-level stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Experience leading, managing, and motivating a small sales team.
  • Ability to work independently, with high energy and a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience managing complex sales processes and balancing multiple priorities.
  • Passion for education and a strong belief in EQPD’s mission to empower students and schools.
