QA Automation (Python, Selenium)

THE WORK

• Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Ruby and industry best practices

• Create and scale end-to-end functional and non-functional test suites for key application areas

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers across global teams

• Align closely with the manual QA team to share knowledge and ensure complete test coverage

• Participate in code reviews and embed automation into the development workflow

• Proactively identify, document, and follow up on production issues and potential risks

• Support continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and team practices

NEEDED EXPERTISE

• 3 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or SDET.

• Proficient in Ruby (or Python/JavaScript), with strong knowledge of OOP and data structures.

• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks using best practices (e.g., Page Object Model).

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, levels, and techniques through practical application.

• Familiar with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs, and basic SQL.

• Experienced with tools like Git, Selenium, Capybara, SitePrism, and CI/CD environments (e.g., Semaphore).

• Skilled in creating detailed test documentation such as test plans, test cases, scripts, and reports ensuring traceability and coverage.
