Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD)

THE WORK

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes and Istio infrastructure on AWS

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform

• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance workflows and improve the developer experience

• Work closely with security teams to integrate security practices across the development lifecycle

• Automate release, rollback, and disaster recovery processes to ensure system reliability

• Create and document processes to share system knowledge across the organization

NEEDED EXPERTISE

• 5 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Istio, AWS, Terraform, and CI systems (for example, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)

• Proven ability to leverage cloud services and open-source software to drive business results

• Experience with automating release management, disaster recovery, and improving build/test automation

• Solid understanding of security best practices and collaborating with security teams

• Demonstrated success in building scalable systems and collaborating cross-functionally

• Experience contributing to the release of reliable, stable products across multiple platforms

• Expertise in creating detailed system support documentation
