Our platform helps teacher residency and apprenticeship programs, colleges, and school districts manage data, streamline operations, and ensure candidate success – especially for those serving diverse and rural communities.
We're seeking a volunteer Advisory Board Member with a background in sales, marketing, and/or product development who wants to make an impact in the EdTech, K-12, and higher education space.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on go-to-market strategy, customer engagement, and product development.
- Advise on marketing and outreach tactics to reach education leaders and decision-makers.
- Offer feedback on the platform's growth, positioning, and roadmap.
- Help evaluate opportunities for AI-driven features that support educator workflows, reporting, or coaching – balancing innovation with practicality.
- Guide the company's early-stage revenue, pricing, and investment strategy to ensure sustainable growth while remaining mission-aligned.
Requirements
- Be a strategic thinker with experience in leading an early-stage venture.
- Have a proven track record in bringing products to market, building awareness, and driving user adoption.
- Understand the EdTech space or K-12 education and higher education ecosystems.
- Have awareness of trends, tools, and responsible practices in AI that can enhance learning, management, or data usage.
- Demonstrate a commitment and willingness to share expertise and contribute to a mission-driven, woman-owned start-up.
