What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Investigation Analyst position at Equifax?
This position will process Employment Data Reports, along with Freeze and Block requests. The DIA will work with the consumer on data dispute issues and resolutions. Additionally, the DIA must research data to confirm if data quality issues are present that may need to be escalated. This position requires one to be analytical and work with a sense of urgency, as meeting timelines is a required function of this role. The DIA must have the ability to prioritize functions based on business needs and manage several tasks simultaneously.
What you'll do:
Analyze client data seeking the source of inaccuracies.
Load data into test and a production environment.
Review historical data in a production environment.
Perform regression testing after hours as needed. Flexible in availability and willing to adjust based upon business needs
Transcribe IVR request to process Employment Data Reports.
Monitor email accounts in order to ensure manual Employment Data Report request are handled within departmental service levels
Position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail as well as a willingness to sift patiently through client data. Work closely with our internal account and product managers as well as our clients to resolve data issues.
Perform manual data table entry and cleanups and initiate and monitor batch processing.
Research client files to locate the source of inaccuracies, while maintaining data integrity.
Effectively work with client to understand what data is being transmitted in their files.
Perform regression testing of internal database to ensure it works as designed.
Frequently communicate with clients, compliance, Account Managers and other internal teams on domain policies and processes.
Train new and existing team members on the dispute process, file formats, Termloaders, Load File Generators (LFG) and other internal applications.
Act as back up to the supervisor on things such as, policy, procedures, escalations, etc.
Process Employment Data Reports (EDRs).
Transcribe IVR voice recordings in order to process consumer reports.
What experience you'll need:
BA or BS preferred
2-5 years of relevant work experience
