As the Email Marketing Specialist, you will be a key player in developing and executing email campaigns that engage prospects and customers while driving business growth. You'll work collaboratively with different teams to ensure our emails are effective, high-quality, and achieve our marketing goals.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of marketing automation platforms and understand how to drive and measure meaningful interactions with prospects and customers.
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute email campaigns:
Create compelling emails for a variety of purposes (e.g., newsletters, product announcements, event promotions, lead nurturing).
Manage A/B testing to optimize email subject lines, content, and calls to action.
Build automated email journeys to guide leads through the sales funnel.
Collaborate with the Content team to ensure high-quality and engaging email copy.
Maintain email quality:
Ensure all emails adhere to Equifax brand guidelines and industry best practices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date email lists to maximize deliverability.
Proofread and receive all approvals before launching emails.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to email delivery and rendering.
Stay informed about email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM).
Target the right audience:
Personalize email content to increase engagement and relevance.
Work with Marketing Operations to segment email lists based on demographics, firmographics, behavior, and interests.
Work with key stakeholders on organically growing subscriber lists.
Leverage data and insights for better targeting.
Perform operational tasks such as imports and prospect database cleanup.
Maintain email preferences opt-in and an accurate suppression list.
Analyze and optimize:
Monitor and track key email metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversions).
Generate reports to measure email performance and identify areas for improvement.
Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize email strategies.
Share email performance results and data-driven insights with stakeholders.
Use marketing automation tools:
Use Pardot (our marketing automation platform) and other tools like Stensul to streamline email processes and improve efficiency.
Build and manage email templates, nurture flows, and landing pages.
Set up automated email workflows to nurture leads and drive conversions.
What experience you need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience
2 years experience in marketing automation or email marketing, preferably in a B2B environment
Any amount of experience writing and building customer facing emails
