Team Overview
The finance team is responsible for ensuring the organization meets all tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with internal teams, external advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure accurate and timely tax filings while contributing to strategic planning and process improvements.
Role Responsibilities
- Work with external tax advisors to manage the preparation, review, and submission of corporate income tax, Sales Tax / VAT, and transfer pricing filings in compliance with global tax regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of periodic financial regulatory reporting for US and Irish jurisdictions.
- Act as a key liaison with tax authorities, auditors, and regulators to ensure compliance and manage relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize tax reporting processes, improving efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Monitor global tax law changes and proactively advise the business on their impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and compliance, to maintain a cohesive approach to tax reporting and compliance.
- Lead special projects related to tax and regulatory reporting, including system implementations and process enhancements.
- Draft and maintain accounting policies in alignment with applicable standards, such as GAAP.
