Team Overview
The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) position plays a crucial role in driving financial strategy, forecasting performance, and providing key insights to senior leadership. Working closely with the Director of Finance and the CFO, this role is responsible for developing financial models, managing budgeting and forecasting cycles, and delivering high-level financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. The role will also be responsible for working closely with leadership on all corporate development opportunities for the company.
The position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and private equity partners.
Role Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support business planning, revenue and expense forecasting, and decision-making.Develop and implement automated processes to improve reporting, forecasting, and budgeting cycles.
- Lead forecasting and budgeting activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivering insights into financial performance.
- Prepare and present to leadership monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key variances and providing actionable recommendations.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and forecasted results, identifying discrepancies and offering solutions.
- Partner with teams across operations, sales, technology and executive leadership to provide financial insights and drive alignment.
- Provide financial analysis to support corporate development M&A activities, capital deployment, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and implement key financial metrics and KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities proactively.
- Collaborate with private equity partners to provide clarity on forecasted financial performance and long-term financial strategy.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and executive-level presentations for leadership, investors, and board members.
