Team Overview

We are seeking a Market Intelligence & Strategy Analyst to drive the growth and impact of our Data & Analytics product suite. This role requires an individual with deep expertise in financial markets, ideally within securities finance or hedge fund strategies. The ideal candidate will combine market knowledge, analytical thinking, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills to deliver market commentary, research insights, and business growth strategies.

This is a highly collaborative role working across teams to drive new opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and support product expansion within the hedge fund space. This role is ideal for someone with a strong financial markets background, excellent research and writing skills, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth through market intelligence. Role Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth market research and intelligence on securities finance, hedge fund strategies, and trading trends.
Develop and deliver market commentary and research insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and act on business growth opportunities, collaborating with hedge funds, broker-dealers, and data providers.
Support sales enablement by creating impactful materials and conducting training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
Leverage EquiLend's data sets to create meaningful analytics and market indicators that influence investment decisions.
Develop strategic partnerships to expand our market presence and data product reach.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather business requirements and shape new functionalities and enhancements.
Create client-facing reports and presentations that clearly communicate insights and opportunities.
Maintain and enhance data quality, ensuring accuracy and reliability of research and analysis.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on securities finance and hedge fund strategies.

Skills & Experience

5 years of relevant experience in securities finance, hedge funds, financial market research, or data product organizations.

Deep understanding of hedge fund strategies and their interaction with securities finance.

Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, actionable market commentary and research insights.

Proven ability to analyze market trends, develop strategies, and identify business opportunities.

Experience working in market data providers, research firms, broker-dealers, or hedge funds.

Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and creativity, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to engage with clients, identify their needs, and build long-term partnerships.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills and ability to create compelling presentations.

Experience facilitating discussions with clients and internal teams to drive business growth and product innovation.

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
