Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), who has been licensed for at least 1 year, to provide behavioral services to young adults in our residential program with challenging behaviors. The RBT will conduct individual therapy sessions, assist with behavior treatment planning, implementing specific behavioral protocols, and provide support to the BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). All RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) must have been certified for a minimum of 1 year. Pay is $56,160.00

Qualifications:

  • Must have been certified as an RBT for at least 1 year
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Autism or Developmental Disabilities in the following fields: Behavioral Health, Residential, Day Program, ISL
  • Drivers License and proof of auto insurance, with a reliable means to transport during your shift
  • Class E Drivers License within 90 days of employment 
  • Ability to work in teams while maintaining a positive and solution focused attitude
  • Desire to continuously learn and develop skillsets
  • Demonstrate examples of living our core values of kindness, accountability, urgency and integrity
  • Be community oriented and driven to do things for the betterment of our internal community 
  • Willingness to work in an ISL home environment
  • English proficiency, both verbal and written, is required
  • Be able to lift up to 30 lbs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct ABA therapy in home, center, and community-based environments
  • Accompany clients to designated outings, which may include transporting the client
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs
  • Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
  • Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
  • Support the BCBA with training staff and caregivers on implementing procedures outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Participate in all applicable team meetings and training workshops.
  • Ensure the client is always in a safe and positive environment.
  • Follow all guidelines and regulations and maintains RBT certification as defined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Responsible for completing additional job duties as assigned applicable supervisors
  • Assist residential management in meeting quality assurance standards of care, such as grocery shopping, reviewing notes and facilitating monthly guardian visits
  • Occasionally move to evade aggressive behaviors and/or physically block attempts to aggress towards others

Schedule: 8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Shift options are flexible. Day Shift and Mid Shift available.
