Electrical Production Supervisor
he Electrical Production Supervisor primary role is to supervise the daily activities of the Electrical Department to meet production and quality targets. This role will also act as liaison to the Engineering Department.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide first-line supervisor oversight to daily tasks performed by the production electricians.
· Manage and direct daily workflow with proper utilization and efficiency of resources.
· Lead all electrical troubleshooting, problem solving, and corrective actions.
· Maintains and oversees quality procedures and practices.
· Manages preventive and periodic maintenance on all electrical department machinery, tools, and test equipment.
· Incorporate Safety into all aspects of the operation and ensure that safe working conditions, actions, and practices exist and are always followed.
- Team with Engineering to identify processes or equipment needed to meet production, quality, and growth requirements.
- Take lead role in training and developing assigned employees in the skills needed to achieve key performance metrics.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required, Associate degree or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of electrical assembly/fabrication experience and 1-3 years of supervisory experience
· Experience with PLC's
· Ability to interpret technical CAD drawings.
· Proficient in reading and working from electrical blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced time management and multi-tasking skills
- Previous experience in LEAN concepts, preferred.
