Patient Mix and Skill Requirements
- High risk antepartum patients
- Laboring patients
- Diabetic pregnant patients
- Magnesium treatment
- C-sections
- Post-operative care
- Postpartum and newborn care
- Triage
The successful candidate will have experience in:
- Newborn care
- Triage
- Charge nursing
Unit Details
- 8 labor beds
- 2 Operating rooms
- 3 bay recovery
- 4 bay triage
The unit has a PCT support system and the ratio of patients to nurses typically ranges from 1:2 based on acuity.
Technical Requirements
- EPIC charting experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
