The Performance Test Engineer is responsible for design, configuration, development, documentation and testing of technology solutions to meet business or technology requirements. Test performance engineer is involved in the full technology life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, configuring, testing, implementing and supporting LoadRunner application and analytics services. Test performance engineer work closely with Analysts, Product Managers, and the business to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and physical design of technical solutions in LoadRunner. Test performance engineer is responsible for creating reference architectures, best practices and procedures. Test performance engineer may be assigned both implementation and support functions.
Location: This position is located in Newark, NJ. Qualified candidate must be in a commutable distance and able to go into the office as needed. This team typically goes into the office 2 days a week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analysis of business technology requirements and translate into technical designs for new performance technology test strategy, following architectural standards and organizational policies
- Design, configuration, development, documentation, testing of performance test
- Detailed domain knowledge is critical
- Create performance testing solutions to enhance/enable service capabilities and reduce time of application and infrastructure. Coding, troubleshooting, and scripting
- Develops, implements, and oversees performance-Architected Framework best practice policies and procedures. Managing testing schedules and coordination with Development teams
- Working various test leads to make sure consistent test metrics are captured and reported on the schedule
- Identify, provide recommendation to implement optimization across organization infrastructure and support to Release management team and communicate GoNo Go decision for Testing
