What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician (Professional) position at Equiliem?
Under the direction of the Quality Manager and / or designee, the successful candidate will contribute to the facility's Quality Management System. "Quality in Everything We Do" is the key operating approach. The successful candidate must be hands-on and able to communicate well with customers, peers, and shop floor personnel. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and creatively work through issues in a timely and data driven manner.
- Quality testing, reporting and verification as required per specification. Includes data entry, business unit reporting and plant reporting, as well as auditing of operator testing.
- Contribute to plants ISO compliant program. Includes internal audits, 5 Whys, calibration program and quality clarifications.
- Participate in plants quality program, including Quality Near Miss program, Quality Behavior Observations and returns processing.
- Interface with customers, sales and customer service to identify and resolve issues.
- Be able to understand and train to quality procedures and product line material specifications.
- Coordinate with materials, production, shipping and maintenance to ensure customer specifications are met.
