Our client is looking for an SAP Business Analyst in the North Charleston SC area.
Job Summary The SAP Business Analyst position and works with business units' representatives to understand business needs, facilitate or (co-facilitate) requirements gathering sessions, investigates solutions, and helps with cost benefit analysis, to ensure the best option is selected by the business.
- extensive knowledge and comprehension of key SAP modules such as Production Planning (PP), Material Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM)
- someone capable of addressing key challenges to impact operations such as the planning process, identifying root causes of inventory inaccuracies and proposing corrective actions as well as uncovering pain points.
- strategic understanding and problem solving approach to drive meaningful improvements Primary Job Responsibilities
- Supports multiple business functions in clarifying the business needs and transforms it to functional requirement, by designing new or modifying existing operational processes
- Designs the process and data flows for new requests, identifying their possible interdependencies and synergies across organizational units, functions and flows
- Creates functional and non-functional specifications that form the basis of the technical analysis by the development team
- Analyzes data from multiple sources and use advanced analytics and statistics to find hidden patterns in large datasets
- Supports the development team in understanding the business need, in order to have a clear picture of the purpose of the solution
- Participates in global SAP projects and take over related tasks
- Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned
- Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System
- Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
- Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards
