We're seeking a Scrum Master who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in supporting large information technology projects for one of our clients in various customer businesses areas at an Investor-Owned Utility client headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master to support large, complex IT application projects for your team by ensuring clear communication and helping the team reach its goal. This role will drive through the implementation of various frameworks to focus on value, flow, quality, predictability, modern engineering practices, and driving continuous improvement within the team.
Location: Role may be remote, however preference will be given to candidates in The Woodlands, TX, New Orleans, LA, or Little Rock, AR, as this is where the client sites are located.

Responsibilities:
- Use agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
- Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
- Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
- Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
- Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.
- Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing.
- Possess confidence to ensure the proper use of collaborative processes are followed and remove impediments for the scrum team through task assignments and/or escalations as needed.
- Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.
- Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Scrum master certification
- 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Adept at managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks
- Leadership and management experience.
- Excellent people and project management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio , MS Teams and Jira
