Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to assist with test fixture design, assembly, testing related activities, and implementation of quality related procedures for our products. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing the product features, developing test parameters, testing for quality and repeatability, and authoring final test procedures, plans and results for the Sustaining Engineering team.
Test Engineer Responsibilities:
Meet with the product design team to determine product testing parameters.
Author test plans and create test cases for the product, as well as test fixtures.
Troubleshoot and investigate issues for root cause.
Streamline testing and check-out procedures.
Develop QA and test procedures.
Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
Set up and monitor test protocols for accuracy, as well as prepare test reports.
Requirements:
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams
Ability to read and understand cable drawings
Experience working with power supplies, function generators, data acquisition systems and the like.
BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or 5 years relevant test experience
Preferred Skills:
Printed circuit board test experience
EMC test and electrical safety testing
Ability to generate cable drawings in AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks, etc.
Printed circuit board schematic capture (Altium preferred)
Automated test data integrity evaluation
National Instruments TestStand or LabView
Automated test system design, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and remediation
Hands-on build, process qualification and maintenance of test equipment
Programming (Python, C ) #ZR
