High Level Summary
The Communications Specialist is accountable for supporting the Marketing and Communications team with effective communications and programming. This includes drafting and implementing communications content with a particular focus on external efforts, and programs which create excitement, drive engagement, align teams and individuals and shape culture. The Communications Specialist also supports company events such as town halls and industry conferences.
This role requires collaboration and coordination across multiple parts of the business as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately.
Roles / Responsibilities
Ensure communications are clear, timely and effective, using a high impact writing style and formatEnable the creation of specific communications action plans, timelines, and defined deliverables that support the communication of messagesSupport the planning and execution of industry conferences and eventsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate overall messaging into communications contentWrite, edit and produce communications for audiences including but not limited to presentations, scripts, briefing documents, articles, and newslettersIdentify, create, and distribute strategic content for large-scale communications (conferences, initiative rollouts, marketing campaigns, progress towards key results, etc.)Routinely measure and report out to stakeholders regarding the impact of communicationsSkills
