Equinox Construction Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. You will be a vital part of our accounting team, responsible for assisting in accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately. With understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Excel, you will ensure timely processing of invoices and reconciliation of accounts. Your proficiency in data entry and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining precise records and supporting the organization's financial health. Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling debits and credits
- Gather and organize vendor invoices
- Accurately enter invoices against project budgets
- Identify any discrepancies regarding vendor invoices
- Ability to reference vendor statements and balances
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Communicate with vendors and respond to payment requests
- Track and monitor vendor COI’s
- Obtain lien releases
