We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Nurse to join our dedicated team. Duties
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on pain management and comfort.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including acute pain management interventions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding end-of-life care options.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform procedures as needed, such as spinal taps or triage assessments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay informed about workers compensation law as it pertains to hospice care.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to hospice care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient cases effectively.
