Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Engineer for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), you will be the main point of contact for the customer during the initial quoting phase and any change order quote request. While leveraging your engineering expertise, you will work together with the EPC Engineering Consulting Manager, EPC Engineers, and other ECI business units to develop a tailored solution while remaining adaptable to changing requirements. The customer will rely on you to ensure the proposal is delivered on time, meets the outlined specifications, and clearly communicates ECI’s solution. This role requires close collaboration with the EPC Engineering Consulting Manager and ECI Account Managers to deliver a successful customer outcome.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Utilize customer input and/or specifications to help in the selection of applicable products
- Collaborate with EPC consulting manager, EPC engineers and other ECI business units to develop solutions that meet customer needs
- Support the delivery of positive customer outcomes through the unified ECI quoting process
- Support the EPC consulting manager and account management team to meet customer expectations
- Collaborate with the EPC Team and other ECI business units to identify and implement improvement opportunities in the quoting and project execution process
The Ideal Candidate:
- Will possess a four-year engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
- Will have working knowledge of P&IDs, electrical equipment, controls, valves and instrumentation
- Will have the ability to develop and deliver solutions based on an understanding of the technical and business challenges of our market
- Must have industry experience quoting complex projects across multiple disciplines
- Must have the ability to work with multiple suppliers, including subcontractors, for equipment and/or services to include in our proposals
- Will possess negotiation skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must be a team player, able to work closely with project managers, account managers, and employees from other business units
