Inside Sales is a pivotal area for ECI. You will be responsible for leveraging customer input and specifications to recommend suitable products and develop tailored solutions. Collaborating closely with project managers and the outside sales team, you will ensure customer expectations are met through a streamlined quoting process. Additionally, you will work with the Skid Tech team and other business units to identify and implement improvements in quoting and project execution, contributing to enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Utilize customer input and/or specifications to help in the selection of applicable products
- Develop solutions to meet customer needs
- Support the delivery of positive customer outcomes through the unified ECI quoting process
- Support the outside sales team in meeting customer expectations
- Collaborate with the Skid Tech team and other ECI business units to identify and implement improvement opportunities in the quoting and project execution process
- Balance project risk and uncertainty through risk management and mitigation plans
- Travel to on-site customer engagements, typically less than 5%
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must possess a four-year engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
- Will have experience in an engineering, sales, and/or manufacturing environment
- Will have working knowledge of P&IDs, pipe and structural welding as well as general electrical controls and instrumentation
- Must have the ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external customers, contributors, and colleagues
- Will have the ability to develop and deliver solutions based on an understanding of the technical and business challenges of our market
- Will possess negotiation skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task and the desire for continual training and education
- Will have high computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn IFS and SmartSheet platforms
