Business Unit/Department: Instrumentation & Valve Services
Location: Solon, OH
Job Summary: This is a dynamic, fast-paced project planning and execution role focused on the repair and assembly of industrial automation solutions supporting ECI products in a variety of industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the safety culture for the shop technicians
- Ensure timely repair and delivery of customer assets
- Manage customer expectations, escalate concerns, and expedite solutions
- Function as a liaison between operational teams, sales personnel, and the customer
- Estimate labor and associated expenses to assist Sales with the quoting process
- Actively manage projects including:
- Develop, schedule, and manage job scope to achieve customers’ desired outcomes
- Communicate with customers, technicians and internal support resources
- Manage repaired inventory within ECI’s business system
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve customer experience
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must have a four-year engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
- Has the ability to travel up to 20% on average, based on the customers and industries served
- Has two or more years of experience in the process control industry with a strong working knowledge of the control valves, instrumentation, isolation valves and pressure relief valves
- Will possess strong presentation skills, consultative selling skills, strong interpersonal skills, excellent account planning skills and communication skills
- Must have proven customer service capabilities
