About the Company - EFI is the largest, privately owned, single branch construction equipment rental company in North America and is located in downtown Nashville, TN. EFI rents equipment in the areas of aerial work platforms, material handling, dirt / excavation, welder / generators, and general rental.
About the Role - A salesperson for EFI is charged with the responsibility of building a book of business by establishing, developing, and maintaining customer relationships in the construction equipment rental industry. Primarily this includes calling on General Contractors and Subcontractors in the Middle Tennessee market to help determine their job specific equipment needs and supporting those customers on a daily / weekly / monthly basis. This is best done by providing the tools that consistently help contractors get their job done and by doing what it takes to earn and keep our customers business. Your efforts, expertise, and availability, along with the support of EFI, should convince the customer that service is the foundation of our business relationships. This strategic formula helps EFI to secure a fair and competitive market for its products and services while establishing a successful and fruitful career for the salesperson.
Responsibilities :
- Prospecting construction sites, contractor offices and industrial properties in an assigned territory for potential customers.
- Managing established and assigned customer accounts related to rental equipment needs.
- Handling administrative duties related to successfully managing customer accounts including CRM requirements.
- Reviewing your book of business and establishing short (weekly)- and long term (quarterly) business plans that lend to a successful relationship
- Support and work closely with the Rental Operations Department by providing information needed to complete a successful rental
- Resolve issues as they arise to strengthen the customer relationship.
- Be knowledgeable and well versed in equipment so you are seen as an expert and dependable resource to the customer
