Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Farmer who is knowledgeable in sustainable farming practices, crop management, and farm operations. You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of the farm, share in its successes, and work collaboratively to grow the business. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the planning and implementation of crop production and farm operations.
• Manage daily farm activities, including planting, cultivating, harvesting, and post-harvest handling.
• Develop and maintain organic and sustainable farming practices.
• Oversee soil health, pest management, and irrigation systems.
• Participate in marketing and selling produce at local markets and to community-supported agriculture (CSA) members.
• Maintain farm equipment and facilities.
• Work closely with the business owner to strategize and grow the farming business.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in farming, preferably in sustainable or organic agriculture.
• Strong knowledge of crop management, soil health, and pest control.
• Ability to operate and maintain farming equipment.
• Passionate about local food systems and sustainable farming practices.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to invest time and effort into growing the business.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
