Key Responsibilities:
· Diagnose, Troubleshoot, and Repair mechanical and Electrical issues on power generation systems.
· Utilize diagnostic software to interface with engine and generator control systems for troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
· Read and interpret work orders or Technical instructions from management to determine work requirements.
· Inspect, test, and optimize power generation systems and components.
· Dismantle and reassemble generator systems for maintenance and repairs.
· Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating power generation systems.
· Collaborate with the Service and Parts Manager to order necessary materials, supplies, and components.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements, Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
· Provide your own tools.
· Be willing to travel overnights for repairing power generators in remote locations
· A minimum of 2 years of experience as a power generation mechanic or technician.
· Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on power generation systems.
· In-depth knowledge of power generation systems and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
· Familiarity with occupational hazards and safety precautions specific to power generation systems.
· Physically capable of performing activities requiring dexterity and strength, including lifting to 90 lbs.
· Valid Alaska Driver’s License required.
