What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Hand position at Equipment Source Inc.?

Yard Duties
- Prepare yard for start and close of business
- Operate equipment
- Keep yard tidy and organized
- Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to management
- Assist unloading trucks for warehouse when needed
- Through away broken pallets
- Shovel walkways in front of buildings
- Snow Removal
- Open and lock gates
- Other duties as assigned
Rental Assistance
- Ensure all small to medium equipment is ready to rent and staged or pre-loaded
- Load and unload customer equipment as yard flow dictates
- As equipment is returned, communicate to those that need to know
- Inspect returned equipment for need of repairs and/or washing, and communicate/follow through accordingly
- Stage returned and awaiting rental equipment for turnaround to be rented
- All Hours and unit numbers and fuel will be sent through pictures
- Assist with basic service and maintenance tasks as needed
- Assist retail and rental customers as needed
Wholegoods
- Load and unload wholegoods on/out trucks at receiving area
- Building attachments
- Make sure all units have unit numbers on them
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
