EquipmentShare is searching for a Shipping and Receiving Associate for our office in Moberly, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow.

Job Summary: Responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies. Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and process outgoing shipments in a proficient, safe and efficient manner
• Receive, inspect and process incoming shipments
• Be able to lift 30-60 pounds and work on your feet for a length of time
• Assemble, label, trim, cut and perform general maintenance work as needed
• Able to use scales, counting equipment and printers
• Perform data entry, processing and reporting with Microsoft Dynamics D365
• Cycle count and inspect inventory using handheld mobile device
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of product and packaging material
• Organize and prioritize workload– working within tight deadlines
• Think creatively and suggest process improvements to management
• Prepare regular and periodic reports describing activity
• Help co-workers and assist in meeting department objectives and preparing all shipments on time
• Follow internal health and safety standards
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities

• Use shipping equipment including (banders, shrink wrap machines, scales, etc.)
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, Domestic and INTL systems
• Experience with Air and Sea Freight logistics and customs clearance
• Basic computer skills– working knowledge of Excel and Outlook
• Basic math skills
• Good communication skills
• High level of professionalism and organization
• Attention to detail/vision-oriented
• Must be a quick learner, fast worker (possess a sense of urgency)
  
  

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Education or Experience required
• At least one year experience in shipping and receiving, a warehouse environment or equivalent work experience
• At least one year of forklift experience required (not limited to inside/ outside warehouse, loading and unloading various types of material and commercial trucks)
• Dangerous Goods packaging/shipping experience preferred
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
