Summary:

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently and accurately processing customers’ transactions.

Job Functions:

Responsible for the comprehensive, prompt, and efficient processing of customer transactions.
Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsements, and enters deposits into computer records.
Balances cash drawer at the end of the shift. Report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
Explains bank services and charges to customers.
Ensures that the teller station is properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
Cashes checks from a variety of accounts upon proper verification.
Receives mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments and enters them into the computer.
Issues Official Checks and Gift Cards.
Reports malfunctions of teller terminals and other equipment used at the teller station.
Cross-sells bank products and services as appropriate.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1 years of customer service experience
Banking experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Excellent communication skills, including verbal and phone
Creativity and resourcefulness
Excellent time management skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks
