Key Job Responsibilities

• Design engaging and visually appealing content for Advisor & Manager Journey Area educational programs through a variety of mediums. Including but not limited to presentations, workbooks, videos, and supporting documents.
• Continuously improve and update existing materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Produce high-quality corporate videos that meet objective goals and brand guidelines.
• Produce and edit podcast episodes and create supporting collateral for promotion.
• Collaborate with event leads to design event-specific content and materials
• Support live event operations, including A/V setup and event flow management.
• Travel as needed – to support live event operations film and to film video projects.
• Support the team with administrative tasks, including managing schedules, processing expense reports, running the back-end of Zoom and Teams meetings, managing vendors, processing invoices, and ensuring seamless operational support.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $ 70,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in visual design, training, or communications
• Proven experience in educational content creation and graphic design.
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and video editing software.
• Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal, with high attention to detail
• Superior project management skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree – Graphic Design or Visual Communications
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and other workplace productivity tools
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Financial services experience a plus
• Familiarity with Synthesia

Curriculum Design: Knowledge of methods, tools and techniques of curriculum design; ability to develop an instructional delivery system that meets the learning needs of a given population in a timely fashion.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Multimedia Learning Systems: Knowledge of functionality and operation of multimedia learning systems; ability to utilize the systems to facilitate learning activities.

Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey marketing messages and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
