Equitable’s global, multi-asset class general account investment portfolio supports the various US insurance and retirement businesses of Equitable Holdings. The Head of Investment Portfolio Strategy will play an integral role within the General Account (GA) Investment Team, working closely with multiple internal stakeholders to optimize strategy for in-force, flow and new insurance products. The candidate will work with the business and relevant stakeholders to optimize asset allocation and pricing for all product lines and strategic transactions. The candidate will work extensively with Equitable’s investment managers on the implementation of business investment strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Product Investment Portfolio Strategy and ALM, this individual will partner with key internal stakeholders and asset managers to further enhance our investment process. This highly visible role will lead and drive key cross-functional strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Oversight of the development and optimization of all product pricing portfolio
- Collaboration with key stakeholders within asset manager and GA Investments team to ensure consistency across all asset classes and products
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders including Risk Management as a key partner on stress testing and credit risk oversight
- Analysis supporting new and existing products to meet overall profitability and distribution targets. Requires engagement and partnership with product areas to develop portfolio profiles
- Evaluating relative value and developing asset allocation strategies across credit and other fixed income asset classes
- Liaison with internal (Risk Management, Actuarial, Treasury, Legal) and external stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives
This role will be working in office 3-4 days per week.
The total targeted compensation range for this position is up to $500,000. Total compensation varies based on skills, experience, geographical location and other factors.
