How You’ll Contribute:
As a Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with various departments to develop, review, and file insurance products and advertising materials for regulatory approval. You will support the creation and maintenance of business and product documentation and provide expert guidance on compliance with applicable legislation and regulations. This role works closely with legal, compliance, and other business teams to ensure the organization adheres to industry standards and best practices. We are seeking candidates passionate about regulatory compliance and dedicated to fostering a culture of integrity and excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate on insurance product and marketing material reviews for regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate product document filings with regulatory authorities and manage objections and responses.
- Maintain accurate records of product print lists, state form requirements, and filing information.
- Support the development of business forms and maintain up-to-date versions with accurate approvals.
- Participate in testing system enhancements and work with IT teams to resolve issues.
- Contribute to industry-related groups and share insights to improve compliance processes.
- Actively promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
What You’ll Bring:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in life insurance and/or annuities required.
- Minimum 2 years of compliance or internal audit experience required (3 years preferred).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workflows, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other technology solutions.
- High degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to customer service.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, talk, and hear continuously for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift/carry items up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to adapt to varying stress levels and maintain a positive outlook.
Where You’ll Work:
- West Des Moines, IA
- Office Location: Mostly Off-Site
- Expected Travel: Infrequent travel (less than 5% of the time).
