Position Summary:
The EquiTrust Internship Program provides students with a paid summer opportunity to gain real-world experience while contributing to meaningful projects that support the organization’s goals. Interns will apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting, working closely with experienced professionals and participating in day-to-day operations. How You'll Contribute:
As an Information Technology (Infrastructure and Operations) Intern, you will gain valuable experience supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure, working closely with the IT team to ensure smooth operations. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about technology, eager to learn, and able to bring problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset to our team.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and storage systems.
- Monitor and respond to IT support requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of hardware and software.
- Participate in network and system administration tasks, such as user account management, backups, and patch management.
- Collaborate with the IT team on various projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference.
- Provide end-user support and training as needed.
- Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for various applications.
- Utilize programming skills to develop test cases and frameworks to simulate end-user experience.
- Configure and run automated test suites, analyzing test results to identify areas for improvement.
- Research and resolve issues with problem-solving skills.

What You'll Bring:
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Rising Junior or Senior at Accredited University required.
Experience:
- Prior internship or work experience in an IT-related role preferred.
- Any familiarity with the following technologies is preferred:
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networking, and storage.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
