How You’ll Contribute:
The EquiTrust Internship Program provides students with a paid summer opportunity to gain real-world experience while contributing to meaningful projects that support the organization’s goals. Interns will apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting, working closely with experienced professionals and participating in day-to-day operations. Throughout the program, they will collaborate across departments, enhancing their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while developing industry-specific expertise. A key component of the internship is the capstone project, which allows interns to showcase their work and insights gained from their experience. Their contributions will help streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive meaningful results aligned with EquiTrust’s mission and values. This program offers a valuable chance to build a professional network and gain practical skills that will support future career success.
What You’ll Do:

Assist the Real Estate Investments Team with due diligence on new investment origination requests, including market research, property analysis, and investment structure evaluation.

Perform financial statement reviews to ensure data integrity, including the review of 2024 Loan Financials for accuracy and consistency.

Support third-party assessment management by completing quarterly assessment templates and maintaining the investment pipeline report.

Assist with the transition of existing stored loan files into a new Loan Management software program.

Utilize problem-solving skills to research and resolve investment-related issues.

Participate in cross-functional collaboration and contribute to EquiTrust’s mission and values through teamwork and innovation.
What You’ll Bring:
Education:

Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior at an accredited university.

Pursuing a degree in Investments, Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:

Previous coursework or experience related to investments, finance, or real estate is beneficial.

Familiarity with various asset classes is a plus.

Compensation and Pay Philosophy:
The pay range for this role is $20.00-$25.00 per hour. This reflects the expected compensation for the position at the time of posting.
