How You’ll Contribute:
As a Quantitative Analyst, you will develop and execute quantitative reporting processes and integrate platforms to facilitate asset allocation, risk management, regulatory reporting, and performance measurement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quantitative models, perform back-testing of strategies, and deliver key insights to drive decision-making. What You’ll Do:
- Research industry best practices to develop and integrate portfolio management systems for asset allocation, risk management, and performance attribution.
- Execute day-to-day reporting for the quantitative group and identify opportunities for enhanced insights and accountability.
- Collaborate with asset class teams to provide quantitative tools and data access for operational efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between portfolio management and technology teams, translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Mentor junior team members on system architecture and data structure design.
- Address ad-hoc requests and support investment and other departments as needed.
- Actively contribute to creating a collaborative and inclusive work environment
What You’ll Bring:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Quantitative Mathematics, or Mathematics required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of quantitative research experience.
- Proficiency with SQL, VBA, and Python; knowledge of relational database management systems.
- Familiarity with fixed income, derivatives, and private investment analytics.
- Preferred experience with BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, and advanced quantitative research methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze business processes and recommend optimizations.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for problem-solving and learning.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to addressing evolving business needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, see, and hear for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.

Compensation and Pay Philosophy:
The pay range for this role is $135,400.00-$186,175.00. This reflects the expected compensation for the position at the time of posting. The final offer will be based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity, and may be higher or lower than the posted range. The pay range is subject to change in the future in accordance with applicable laws. EquiTrust is committed to fair and competitive compensation that considers individual and organizational needs.
