*This position is based out of our Westlake, OH location and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after the probationary period.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Asset Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for the research and remediation required to resolve transactional discrepancies identified in the daily reconciliation of transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Reviews daily internal reconciliation reports, suspense account activity, incoming cash liquidations and identified outages.
- Ensures metal movement and asset pricing is reflecting accurately and timely through internal system and external depository portals.
- Performs research in multiple systems including workflow, trust, and external depository portals to determine appropriate resolution steps.
- Ensures research includes full scope of outage scenario and resolution steps are comprehensive and appropriate considering any potential client tax implications.
- Processes required transactions to clear outages accurately and within documented service level agreements.
- Communicates in person, via email, or phone with all stakeholders impacted by resolution steps including but not limited to internal departments, clients and external third parties.
- Collaborates with other Operation and Investment departments to identify root cause, research, and escalate exceptions
- Recommends solutions for issues/observations to Management that require attention to mitigate risk
- Maintains frequent and appropriate communication with Supervisors on status of outages and escalate appropriately.
- Monitors outages and identifies trends to provide recommendations to mitigate future occurrences.
- Assists with training for new hires or other departments as needed as the subject matter expert.
- Demonstrates initiative and accountability.
- Completes projects as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in banking and/or financial services operations preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
- None required.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:
- Demonstrated success in problem solving.
- Experience with Express and Innotrust transaction recognition and processing preferred.
- Experience in navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
