What You’ll Do
This position serves as the first point of contact for guests.
Your job will include, but not limited to the following tasks:
- Complete daily tasks as outlined by Supervisor and daily Ranger Checklists.
- Curate guest check-in packets and important information.
- Welcome guests and verify reservation information at check-in.
- Make, extend, and cancel camping reservations.
- Professionally handle difficult guest encounters and rule enforcement.
- Create excellent customer experiences. Help us maintain our Trip Advisor award winner status.
- Perform routine patrolling and daily site inspections.
- Monitor the resort, identify and address any issues or areas of concern.
- Ensure the security of the property and contact law enforcement if necessary.
- Utilize quick and reasonable judgment.
- Conduct golf cart and rental inspections.
- Complete monthly on line training classes.
- Assist other departments (housekeeping, maintenance) as needed.
- Perform general administrative tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.
- High school diploma, or the equivalent experience.
- Ability to navigate computer reservation system.
- 1 year of hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable with computers.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and evenings.
- Willingness to carry after hours phone/answering service if needed.
- Winter and peak summer season shifts can vary.
