What you’ll do:
The Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting Director manages the consolidation and corporate accounting financial close processes and oversees the preparation of the company’s SEC filings and the distribution of various internal financial statements. This position is a key technical accounting resource, ensuring that all transactions and documentation comply with US GAAP and SEC requirements.
Your job will include:
- Manage the financial reporting team and related processes, including the preparation, review and filing of the company’s SEC documents, including earnings releases and quarterly supplemental information, as well as 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K forms, and other filings as needed.
- Review and distribute internal financial statements and reports, including Board of Director financial reports.
- Manage the corporate accounting and consolidation team including the accounting for debt, derivatives, joint ventures and stock options, in addition to IT, HR and Finance expenses.
- Manage the financial close processes in a manner that drives accurate and timely reporting of results.
- Coordinate the company’s annual audit and quarterly reviews with independent auditors.
- Develop, maintain and strengthen the integrity of the financial reporting process and internal controls with respect to financial reporting.
- Research and resolve accounting issues, including the evaluation and implementation of new accounting announcements to ensure US GAAP compliance.
- Hire, coach, mentor and train members of the financial reporting, corporate accounting and consolidation teams.
Experience & skills you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. '
- At least eight years of accounting and reporting experience. '
- Experience with hiring, coaching, training and mentoring direct reports.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm preferred.
- Strong technical US GAAP knowledge and understanding of SEC rules and regulations.
- Experience with SOX 404 compliance and current knowledge of best practices in internal controls.
- Strong communications, organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong financial acumen, including problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, drive projects to completion and meet deadlines.
- High level of comfort working with senior executives.

Estimated compensation for this position is:
Salary: $150,000 - $175,000
The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
