ELS is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Manheim, Pennsylvania.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of maintenance employees and ensure they follow safe work practices.
- Perform supervisory duties, including interviewing candidates, training new employees, conducting performance reviews, and initiating disciplinary actions.
- Perform preventative maintenance functions and record findings in a maintenance log.
- Review and delegate work orders in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular property inspections.
- Monitor community mechanical equipment and ensure maintenance is performed to company standards.
- Participate in budget preparation and make decisions on fund allocation within the maintenance department.
- Communicate regularly with management and staff.
- Respond to guest concerns professionally.
- Attend training programs and assist with community activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of direct technical work experience in areas like plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds and working with heavy equipment.
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
