Job Summary
This role is responsible for addressing resident service requests, performing diverse hands-on maintenance tasks, and ensuring market-ready apartments. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical work, and other systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Addressing resident service requests in a timely manner
- Performing hands-on maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and more
- Preparing market-ready apartments and maintaining community grounds
- Conducting regular community inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required if operating a motorized vehicle during work hours
- Computer literacy and effective communication skills essential for all work-related purposes
- Ability to perform physical activities requiring considerable use of hands, arms, and legs, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Service team employees are required to use their own smartphone with updated software and password protection
Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade school certification/diploma
- EPA Section 608 Type I, Type II or Universal certification
- Residential or commercial property management, hospitality, or retail experience
Compensation:
Salary: $21.04-$25.72 per hour, eligible for overtime pay and performance incentives. Starting pay based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
