General Job Description
This role is crucial in the Accounts Payable cycle involving independent contractors. This team member will be responsible for accurately inputting data into ESHL’s back end systems, as well as coordinating and processing commission payments for Equity Smart’s Loan Officers.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Input data into company databases and systems accurately and efficiently
- Assist with the commission payment process for loan officers
- Setup payments either by direct deposit and/or hard checks for Equity Smart’s Loan Officers.
- Assist in bookkeeping duties including verifying transactions, recording transactions, and reconciling accounts.
- Respond to payment status inquiries, outstanding invoices, transaction disputes, and discrepancies in a timely fashion.
- Retrieve and compile data as requested by team members or management, providing accurate and timely reports.
- Other duties as assigned;
Qualifications
- Associates degree in accounting or related field.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to accurately process and record a large volume of numerical data.
- Proficiency with MS Office and email.
- Strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, math, or a related field.
- Bookkeeping experience.
- Knowledgeable with QuickBooks.
