IT Project Manager

Equity Staffing Group is hiring for a new 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend or convert to FTE, for an IT Project Manager for a client who is a leading provider of aluminum sheet, plate and extrusions, as well as innovative architectural products, that advance the automotive, aerospace, commercial transportation, industrial, packaging and building and construction markets. The IT Project Manager will provide PMO - project management services for IT projects and coordinate and perform essential functions in the IT Project Management Office. The IT Project Manager position is 100% onsite for the 1st shift and is a 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension or conversion to full time.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide project management services for IT projects
• Coordinate and perform essential functions in the IT Project Management Office
• Operate with client’s IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT Standards
• Work across a global IT team to share information and best practices
• Oversee and drive IT projects with a focus on cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate and lead multiple teams to ensure meticulous planning, timely execution, and adherence to the IT project management methodology.
• Support the governance of policies and procedures established by the IT Project Management Office.
• This includes maintaining our project management standards, developing IT roadmaps, and facilitating executive-level reporting processes.

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years’ minimum experience in a similar role
• Associates degree from an accredited institution
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating in a project management office
• Ability to work across different teams of people, and ability to motivate and align them all on the goal of completing a project
• Ability to effectively manage time, scope, and cost of planned work using appropriate verification techniques
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Experience leading projects related to cybersecurity and IT infrastructure
• Experience managing IT projects in a manufacturing environment
